Booking rental winter sport equipment through the Ski Olympic website implies acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions:

Section 1 - Summary:

The whole equipment available for hire is described on our website, specifying that the hirer books a category of equipment and not a particular model.

The cost of the hire is set by the category of equipment and the chosen term of the hire according to our hire prices displayed at the confirmation stage of the booking proccess. Our prices are tax inclusive, at the rate applicable when booking is placed.

Section 2 - Payment Details:

Ski Olympic has entered into a service agreement with BarclayCard for electronic business; this agreement is called “ePDQ CPI”. This agreement aims at ensuring all necessary features to manage a merchant service and to securely acquire payments over the Internet. BarclayCard handles trade security and ensures secret data protection and management.

Acceptance by the central credit card authority completes and validates the order placed by the customer. In case of refusal by the central credit card authority, Ski Olympic will not reserve the equipment. When proceeding to the payment, the hirer is automatically connected to the BarclayCard payment system. Payment details are protected by encryption and do not pass through Ski Olympic systems and are therefore not kept by Ski Olympic.

Section 3 - Equipment Availability:

The equipment can be collected the day before the first day of ski hire and returned at the end of the last day of hire.

The rented winter sport equipment remains under full responsibility of the hirer as soon as collected by them. The hirer shall ensure its conservation and shall make use of it with due diligence at all times. Taking possession of the rented equipments remains the responsibility of the person making the hire.

In case of late collection of the rented equipment, the hirer shall inform Ski Olympic as soon as possible. Failure to return the rented equipment – regardless of the reason – will result in Ski Olympic invoicing the customer the full replacement cost of the equipment.

Ski Olympic shall not be held liable for delays in the availability of the rented equipment beyond our control, such as road accidents or inclement weather. In such circumstances.

All equipment available for hire is recognized as being in good condition and shall be return as such. The equipment being numbered or marked shall be returned with the same numbers and the same mark.

Section 4 - Refund Policy:

The client may cancel an online reservation of equipment up to 48 hours prior to the commencement of the hrie date by contacting our UK office.  After that time, the client may cancel reserved equipment in resort.
